Refund Policy
This Refund Policy (hereinafter – “Policy”) sets out the conditions under which users of the web-based platform operated by GTT Technologies Limited, a private company limited by shares incorporated under the laws of the British Virgin Islands with its registered office at Intershore Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, registered under number: 2180362 (hereinafter – “Company”, “GTT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), may request a refund of deposited assets.
The platform operated by the Company and available at https://gtt.trade (hereinafter – “Platform”) enables registered users (hereinafter - “Users”, “you”, “your”) to purchase internal Coins, which may be used exclusively to access Platform features such as participation in skill-based trading Tournaments or unlocking other paid content. This Policy applies to all refund requests relating to such deposits, and forms part of the overall contractual framework between you and GTT.
While Users may request a refund of unallocated Coins (i.e., Coins that have not been used for participation or purchases), any assets that have been used to join a Tournament, competition, or acquire in-platform products are considered consumed and are non-refundable.
All terms, definitions, and concepts used in this Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the meanings and context provided in the Terms of Use Agreement .
This Platform is not a financial service provider and does not offer investment advice, portfolio management, or any regulated financial or asset management activities. All usage of funds is voluntary and tied to Platform functionalities, as described in the Terms of Use Agreement .
By topping up your account or using any features of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy in full.
If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you should not deposit funds or use services that may trigger non-refundable transactions.
It is your responsibility to review this Policy before initiating any payment or participating in Platform activities.
1. Refundable balances
Users may request a refund of cryptoassets or fiat funds originally used to purchase Coins, provided that such Coins remain unspent and unused within the Platform.
Coins are considered allocated and non-refundable once they have been used to enter any Tournament, Challenge, paid feature, or converted or partially consumed as part of Platform functionality.
In accordance with the BVI Consumer Protection Act, 2020, Users may rescind their purchase of Coins if the purchase was made via electronic or distance marketing, and the Coins remain unused and unallocated.
To exercise this right, the following conditions apply:
- the cancellation must be requested within five (5) business days from the date of purchase;
- the User must not have used any portion of the Coins or otherwise initiated the digital service;
- the User must submit a written request through the designated support channel: support@gtt.trade
Where the above conditions are met, the Company shall refund the original amount paid, using the same payment method and currency where technically feasible. Refunds will be processed within ten (10) business days of receipt of the cancellation request.
In line with consumer protection principles, Users acknowledge that:
- by using Coins to access paid features, they are expressly waiving their right to cancel the transaction under Applicable Law;
- such waiver may be explicitly confirmed at the time of purchase (e.g., by checkbox or in-app banner).
Outside the statutory right to cancel, the Company may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to duplicate payments, confirmed technical errors preventing participation in a Tournament, cancellation of a Tournament by the Platform prior to its start.
Refund requests that do not meet the statutory or discretionary conditions may be declined.
2. Non-refundable transactions
Certain actions on the Platform result in a final and non-refundable use of Coins, which constitute internal digital units representing prepaid access to Platform services. Accordingly, no refunds will be granted under the following circumstances:
- the User has used Coins to register for a Tournament, competition, or any skill-based challenge;
- the Tournament or event for which the Coins were spent has already commenced or concluded;
- the User has voluntarily withdrawn from participation after Coins were used for registration;
- the User’s participation has been cancelled due to a violation of the Platform’s Terms of Use Agreement or Competition Rules (including but not limited to cheating, collusion, manipulation, or other abusive conduct).
In accordance with the BVI Consumer Protection Act, 2020, by using Coins to access any digital feature, Tournament, or paid service on the Platform, the User expressly acknowledges the immediate commencement of digital services and waives the right to rescind or cancel the transaction once such access has begun.
Refunds will also not be issued based on:
- dissatisfaction with Tournament outcomes;
- loss of a competition;
- subjective evaluation of the performance or scoring.
By participating, Users accept the inherent risks and variability associated with skill-based challenges and competitive environments.
3. Refund procedure
To request a refund for unused Coins, Users must submit a formal request either through the Platform’s designated withdrawal function (if applicable), or via the official support channel.
If the withdrawal feature does not support refund functionality, requests should be submitted by email to support@gtt.trade.
The following information is required to process a refund request:
- Your Username (as assigned upon onboarding);
- The date of the deposit;
- The amount and method of payment used;
- A clear statement confirming that the funds were not used for any Tournament entry or in-Platform purchase.
All refund requests will be reviewed within ten (10) business days of receipt. If the request is approved, the refund will be issued no later than ten (10) business days from the date of cancellation or rescission.
Refunds will generally be processed using the same payment method originally used by the User. Where this is not technically feasible, the Company may offer a suitable alternative refund method, subject to User confirmation.
Users should note that additional processing time (typically 5–7 business days) may be required by external payment providers before the refunded amount appears in the User’s account.
4. Fraudulent or abusive requests
GTT reserves the right to decline refund requests if there is a reasonable suspicion that the request is:
- fraudulent, misleading, or submitted in bad faith;
- part of a pattern of abusive behavior, including repeated claims for used or expired credits;
- based on misrepresentation of the use of funds or account activity.
In such cases, the Platform may also limit or suspend the User’s access to the Platform or specific features, report the incident to relevant payment processors or service providers, or take any legal or administrative action deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the service and other Users.
Users found to have intentionally violated this Policy or other Platform rules may forfeit eligibility for future refunds.
5. Amendments to this Refund Policy
GTT reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time, in response to changes in legal requirements, operational needs, or user feedback.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you through the Platform (e.g., by displaying a banner or sending a notice).
We encourage users to review this Policy periodically to stay informed of their rights and obligations.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
